As we mentioned in our previous newsletter, the new generation of transmitters is not just an upgrade, but a real step forward in remote-controlled, cloud-based alarm technology. Here we take a closer look at what installers and system integrators get when they choose EasyLine 4G Cloud:
CID code transmission via data channel (in SIA-IP and Enigma format)
In addition to traditional telephone calls, it is now able to communicate with remote monitoring via GPRS/LTE channels using digital (IP-based) protocols. This enables more modern and stable data transmission in SIA-IP and Enigma format.
Flexible customer number configuration – no reprogramming of the control panel
EasyLine 4G Cloud lets you set the customer number directly in the communicator, regardless of the setting in the alarm control panel.
Example:
Suppose the alarm system communicator needs to be replaced, but you do not have access to the control panel programming (e.g. due to a lost installer code or parameters set by a previous service provider). In that case, you can enter the new customer number on the EasyLine 4G Cloud interface. The signals will be automatically sent to the remote monitoring service with the new ID – without requiring any control panel programming.
Notification route exclusion
With the "GPRS connection only" function, you can specify that the remote monitoring access data set in the EasyLine 4G Cloud module should be used for sending notifications without changing the alarm centre settings.
This development means that the prefixes and notification phone numbers set in the alarm control panel will be ignored. In this case, EasyLine 4G Cloud will take over the Contact ID message from the alarm control panel and forward all signals to the monitoring station via GPRS connection, following the parameters stored in the communicator.
Additionally, if the "Set customer code" option is selected for the customer number, the specified customer number in the ProRead program will appear in all outgoing signals, regardless of the alarm centre's original settings.
Cloud-based control and configuration
The product can also be programmed remotely via the cloud, eliminating the need for service providers to visit the customer for changes or adjustments. This results in significant time savings, particularly in areas where physical access is challenging.
Intelligent management of inputs and outputs
- The input can be used to send an SMS or automatic voice call to up to 8 numbers when an alarm is triggered in a zone.
- The input can be set as NO/NC, making it suitable for most sensors.
- The output can be used for arming/disarming, gate opening, relay control or remote restart – in monostable/bistable mode
Life signal and error code display
The 4G module is capable of sending status check (life signal) SMS messages, for example, every week at a specified time. Additionally, the device communicates via LED error signals (e.g., no SIM, PIN locked, no signal), which facilitates quick fault diagnosis for installers.
Easy installation – with USB/Bluetooth
The EasyLine 4G Cloud can be programmed either via a USB port on a laptop or, optionally, with a Bluetooth adapter. Configuration is quick and easy using the software, so installers can have the device up and running in just a few minutes.
Some additional professional advantages:
- Open Collector control option, bistable/monostable (65000mp) control
- Automatic clock synchronisation with the mobile network
- 16000 event log, GSM signal logging
- Output control with phone number identification filtering with 1000 phone numbers can be enabled
- Flexible switchover to another control panel by changing the ID code
Important: The new features are only available on the new EasyLine 4G Cloud model and cannot be activated with a firmware update on earlier models.
