The new features are immediately available once the communicator firmware is updated, allowing even existing devices to be easily upgraded.
Flexible customer ID configuration – without central reprogramming
ProLine 4G Cloud allows the direct setting of the customer ID in the communicator, regardless of the settings in the alarm control panel.
Example:
If the communicator of the alarm system needs to be replaced, but there is no access to the panel's programming (e.g., due to a lost installer code or parameters set by a previous service provider), a new customer ID can be easily entered via the ProLine 4G Cloud interface. The signals will be automatically sent to the monitoring centre with the new identifier, without requiring central programming.
Notification path exclusion
With the "GPRS only connection" feature, it is possible to use the monitoring contact details set in the ProLine 4G Cloud module for sending notifications without modifying the settings in the alarm control panel.
This development means that prefixes and phone numbers set in the control panel will be ignored. In such cases, the ProLine 4G Cloud will forward all signals exclusively via GPRS to the monitoring centre, following the parameters saved in the module. (In this case, CID-to-SMS conversion will not function.)
Additionally, if the “Set customer code” option is selected for the customer ID, the customer number entered in the ProRead program will appear in all outgoing signals, completely independently from the original control panel settings.
ProLine 4G Cloud – main technical features
Analogue phone line simulation and communication:
