IP/GPRS/GSM Communicator
When should you choose the IPCOM G? If there is wired internet at the site, but the 2G/3G mobile network is sufficient for the backup channel – even without 4G coverage. It is a reliable, MABISZ-certified security solution with lower mobile network costs.
- The primary signaling channel is wired Internet, providing immediate signal transmission.
- The secondary signaling channel is GPRS:
- In backup mode: if the Ethernet connection is faulty.
- In parallel mode: simultaneous transmission over Ethernet and GPRS.
- Furthermore, it can be used as a primary signaling channel if there is no wired Internet at the site.
The IPCOM G is a high-level security solution in a cost-effective way.

Description
The IPCOM G communicator is recommended for high-security applications where redundant signal transmission is a fundamental requirement. The primary signaling channel is wired Internet, providing immediate signal transmission and operation without additional costs.
The secondary signaling channel is GPRS (with GSM backup). The secondary GPRS channel can operate in backup mode (if the Ethernet connection is faulty), in parallel mode (simultaneous transmission over Ethernet and GPRS), or as a primary signaling channel (if there is no wired Internet at the site). The IPCOM G is a high-level security solution in a cost-effective way.
Most important features of IPCOM G:
- MABISZ certification
- Encryptable communication (AES-128)
- High-quality technical support
- Sends an SMS to a specified number in case of an alarm – no need for constant manual monitoring
- Main functions are programmable via SMS commands
- Notifications sent via email and SMS
- Immediate two-way signaling (Contact ID)
- Available in a robust, industrial aluminum housing upon request – for extreme environments
- Automatic configuration of network settings (DHCP)
- Sends to two monitoring stations simultaneously – if one is unavailable, the other receives the signal immediately
- Three operating modes to choose from: Ethernet only, mobile network only, or both simultaneously – adjustable according to needs
- Remote programmable (via IP) and remote controllable
- If the connection is temporarily lost, the system stores events and sends them later – nothing is lost
- IP protocols: SIA-DC09, Enigma, Contact ID
- Configuration via USB with VUP cable (optional)
- Two onboard inputs with adjustable event codes
- Optionally expandable with IPCOM-IO8 panel to 8/16 inputs
- Software-updatable system – no need for site visits, new features can be installed remotely
- Individually nameable zones up to 16 zones
- Modernize old serial port security systems – no need to replace the entire system
Used as I/O Output:
- 2 OC outputs - outputs can be controlled individually via the Cloud Manager application
- Monostable control mode - the output stops automatically after a defined operating time
- User access managed per output on the ascloudmanager.hu interface
- Controllable via URL from a computer (e.g., relevant for receptions)
- Unlimited users can be added for control
- Email and push notifications for output status changes
Used as I/O Input:
- Input signal sent to monitoring station (Contact ID, SIA DC09 event)
- Push and email notifications to the user for input signals and restorations
- Event log, remote access from the cloud
Expansion of outputs and inputs is possible with the IO84 expander, max. 2 expanders per panel (max. +16 inputs and +8 outputs beyond the module's own I/O connections). Push and email messages are also available for the expander panel inputs and outputs.
Which security communicator should you choose? We help you decide.
You need ENICOM 4G if... you need an EN54-21 certified device. This communicator is used where law requires redundant fire alarm signaling. Signal transmission takes place via Ethernet line and 4G mobile network.
The best choice is IPCOM 4G Cloud if... you need a MABISZ certified, AES-128 encrypted communicator with remote control. It primarily operates via ETHERNET, but sends data via 4G if necessary.
COM 4G Cloud is an excellent decision when... (...) a MABISZ certified, AES-128 encrypted communicator is needed, but there is no reliable wired internet connection at the site.
Choose IPCOM G Cloud if... (...) there is a reliable wired internet connection at the site, but 2G/3G mobile network is sufficient for the backup channel – 4G coverage is not required. This device is MABISZ certified and has AES-128 encryption.
Buy a COM G Cloud communicator if... (...) you need the most cost-effective MABISZ certified, AES-128 encrypted communicator. This device is optimal when ETHERNET is not available and only 2G/3G network is accessible.
The IPCOM Cloud is the right device for you if... (...) there is stable wired internet at the site and no mobile network backup is required – with MABISZ certification and AES-128 encryption.
